Following on from their ongoing relationship with Cunard, Push The Button were invited to supply and install a solution to the Winter Garden Lounge to enable passengers seated at the windows to hear the tour guide better than they were currently able too.
The audio feed described key landmarks and scenic features as the ship passes by them. To bolster the Garden Lounge’s sound system, Push The Button specified a series of custom K-Array speakers, subs and amplifiers. K-Array speakers are uniquely small and discreet and can be disguised into the room in a way that no other product could be. The units were also manufactured in a RAL colour to match the brown colour of the wooden walls.
The finished installation used nine K-Array Vyper-KV25 speakers, measuring in at just 25cm long each. The Vypers were complemented by four K-Array Rumble-KU26 subs and three Kommander-KA24 amplifiers.
Push The Button carried out the installation whilst the ship was in service without any disturbance to the passenger experience.
