The Egg, Bath, a renowned theatre and rehearsal space dedicated to young people, has recently undergone a major lighting control system upgrade. The legacy ETC Unison controller was no longer supported by ETC, a replacement was required. Push The Button tendered for and won the contract to supply and install an up-to-date lighting control system.
Push The Button supplied a new ETC Paradigm processer and also replaced the existing user interfaces, which included a touch screen in the control room, a 5-button panel on the balcony, a 10-button panel in the rehearsal room, and a 10-button panel in the cafe/reception area.
The project was completed during a brief closed period in January 2023, with installation and commissioning taking place smoothly and without any complications. The new system will provide enhanced control and versatility for The Egg’s lighting needs.
