Production Lighting Upgrades
Working directly for the Theatre on a project designed by Charcoalblue, Push The Button successfully tendered to replace the existing dimmers, working lights, production lighting infrastructure and house and working light control systems.
The existing Dimmer Room, located adjacent to the Stage Door was re-located to replace the Laundry Room on the Second Floor. Four 96 Channel ETC Sensor Dimmers were installed with a combination of 2.3KW and 5KW ThruPower Modules. New containment and cable was installed to bring power and services to the new Dimmer Room and to connect outgoing circuits to the 79 new facility panels which were installed around the building. New White and Blue LED Working Lights were installed with an ETC Paradigm house and working light control system.
The project was programmed for a six week summer closure period and to ensure it was completed on time, Push The Button identified a period of time in the run up to the closure period where the team could get ahead with the project by working night shifts around the venue schedule. Lisa Cheal, technical manager at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, comments “Push The Button completed to the brief and on time with 110% quality of workmanship, neatness and general friendliness from start to finish.”
